ROSALYN CURRAN CHESKY
 
            Rosalyn is the daughter of Lori and Philip Chesky of South Hadley and granddaughter of Shirley and Thomas Curran of Holyoke. She has a brother, Philip. Rosalyn is a graduate of Wilbraham Monson Academy. While she was studying there, she was selected as a Gold Key member to represent WMA and tour prospective students. She was a Writing Center tutor, and she assisted in organizing the Annual Philip A. Chesky Tennis Tournament which brings together adults, children, and families in singles and doubles events.
 
            Rosalyn received many honors for her athletic ability and  was chosen Athlete of the Month several times. She was a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team since Grade 8; a point guard and member of the Varsity Basketball Team since grade 7, and she was on the Varsity Tennis Team since Grade 6.
 
            Roz was voted Most Valuable Player for highest scorer, most steals, best offensive, defensive player, most rebounds for the AAU season, and she received the Phil Shaw Award for the Best Female Athlete. She participated in the Baystate Games, was a Bronze Medalist, and a member of the All Star Tournament Team.
 
            Roz is now a Sophomore at Wheaton College, majoring in English, with a minor in Communications. She is studying Spanish as a second language, in preparation for studying abroad her Junior year.
 
            In college she is a Varsity Tennis Athlete and selected as All Conference First Team for singles and doubles. She is a member of the New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference Champion Team and will be attending the National Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament this May—a first for Wheaton College!
 
            Rosalyn enjoys the visual arts---painting and drawing, performing arts---singing and dancing, and athletic activities---volleyball, basketball, and tennis. After Roz graduates, she plans to travel internationally, and looks forward to a successful career.
